Gerard McAuley married Teresa approximately 1948. It was the first wedding to be held in the new Chuch on Clogher Road.
This Church has since been replaced by a bigger and newer Church at the junction of Clogher Road and Sundrive Road.
Gerard and Teresa lived for a few years at No.5 Dolphins Barn then moved to a new development in Walkinstown
before finally settling in the exclusive area of Newcastle, Co. Wicklow.
Gerard and Teresa had six children Finbar,Felim,Sean, Breda, Dervilla and Orla.
